Registration and Fees

Registration is open until 4 June at https://konsta.utu.fi/Default.aspx?tabid=88&tap=4547.

Registration fee will be charged on-line in the end of the registration process. Please note that your registration will only be valid when you have paid your fee in full and it has been received by the University.

When registering to a Futures Conference you accept our data privacy policy. In addition the information about your name, organization and country will be added to the conference participant list. This list will be copied to the participants or will be otherwise visible at the conference site. If you do not wish to have your data visible, please inform the conference secretariat as soon as possible.

Participants are asked to make their hotel reservations directly to the hotel of their choice. Further information about the hotels. Note, that there are several parallel events in Tampere > please, book your accommodation asap.

The Conference Fee includes

  • Lectures, sessions, panels
  • Conference materials
  • Morning and afternoon coffees/teas, all-day refreshments
  • Lunches on both conference days
  • VAT 0%

The conference fee does not include the conference dinner on Wed 13 June.  Tickets for the dinner (60 EUR) can be purchased on-line during the registration process. 

During the pre-registration you have a unique opportunity to visit the Finnish Lenin Museum situated next to the conference venue. Guided 45 minutes tours (in English) will be organised on Tuesday 12 June at 18:15 and 19:00.  Price 8 EUR/person. Reserve your ticket when registering to the conference on-line.

Methods of payment

All payments are made in advance in euros (EUR) when registering on-line. You will receive instant confirmation of successful registration to your email.

Payment options available only on-line:

  • Credit card (via Paytrail): Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard and American Express are accepted.
  • Supported Finnish on-line bank gateways.

Registration and payments are handled by the University of Turku. Please note that your registration will only be valid when you have paid your fee in full and it has been received by the University.

Cancellation of registration

Cancellation must be made via email to futuresconference@utu.fi 4 June 2018 at the latest. No fees will be refunded after that date. A processing fee of EUR 30 will be deducted from all refunds. Registrations can be transferred to another participant at no cost by notifying the organisers. All transfer requests must be sent via email.
